Start with the development preview

Applies to the inspected local build: 0.1.2. No live social API connectors are included.

Try it in a test WordPress installation

  1. Install and activate the development plugin package. The header declares WordPress 6.0+ and PHP 7.4+; these are minimum requirements, not a compatibility certification.
  2. Open Feed Flamingo in WordPress administration.
  3. Use “Cargar datos de desarrollo” for each network you want to preview.
  4. Add a Shortcode block and paste one of the shortcodes below.
[feedflamingo_facebook]
[feedflamingo_instagram]
[feedflamingo_x]

What the sample shows

Facebook and X each contain five fictional posts. Instagram contains three to show a shorter feed. Cards include images, text, a carousel cover and a video placeholder; there is no working video player or interactive carousel in this renderer. Sample links point to example.com and are not social posts.

Refresh and disconnect

Refresh can be triggered manually in the plugin panel. A six-hour WP-Cron event is scheduled, but execution depends on cron being triggered. Disconnecting a network removes that network’s connection record and saved posts from the plugin’s local tables. Deactivating the plugin unschedules its event; it does not remove those tables or their data.

Planned connection model

The intended architecture uses a shared Meta app and a separate authorization service at connect.feedflamingo.com. The App Secret is intended to stay in that service. Social tokens are intended to be encrypted in each customer’s WordPress installation, with subsequent content synchronization performed directly by WordPress. This describes planned behavior, not a verified capability of 0.1.2.

Supported account targets — planned

No platform approval or launch date is implied. The development interface and sample copy are currently in Spanish.
